Athletics at NBHS

We aim to offer a high-performance multisport program designed for students who wish to pursue sports competitively while being dedicated to their academic success. We provide our students with a well-rounded academic-athletic experience to enhance their personal, academic, and athletic success.

North Bay High School is pleased to announce our partnership with Canada International Golf Academy to provide our students with indoor and outdoor training. Founded on our holistic approach to learning, we are excited to expand our sports program to offer indoor and outdoor golf training for beginners, intermediate, and elite golfers.

CIGA is at the forefront of elite golf training. Recently, CIGA’s student, Shauna Liu won the 2024 Canadian Junior Girls Championship and made her LPGA debut at 16 years old. GIGA features the most technologically advanced simulators and instructional technologies available in Canada. North Bay High School students are in good hands!

Coming Soon!

  • Beginner, intermediate, and elite golf instruction will be included as part of the NBHS curriculum offering students a high school credit while receiving professional training.
  • NBHS will host golf tournaments for high school students in collaboration with CIGA.
  • NBHS students will also be able to take advantage of a YMCA student membership to participate in multisport programming including basketball, badminton, and swimming.

Soccer Program

NBHS is on the doorstep of Moatfield Soccer Field, an A-rated, 100% turf adult-sized field.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced soccer player, our professional staff will design a training program for you based on your skill level.
