Extracurriculars

We offer a wide variety of cultural and athletic acclivities for our students and have created of variety of clubs within the school; including robotics, debate, public speaking, entrepreneurial simulations, music, small language study, and chess. The school also organizes occasional visits to Fortune 500 companies, yacht rides, sightseeing tours, and various charity events. This allows students to enrich their after-school lives in a safe and organized manner.

Golf

Golf is the sport of the elite – the more you know about golf, the better you will be able to understand the lives of the rich and famous – so learn about golf with us by practicing the game using the digital tools of the 21st century – and try out your new skills on the course!

CIGA is a local Canadian golf training academy that combines its high-quality training resources with Canada’s rich educational resources, attracting many international students to study and train in Canada.

CIGA has developed numerous outstanding junior golfers, with many students successfully joining golf teams at Canadian universities and renowned U.S. colleges with excellent golf programs. Some exceptional students have pursued professional and semi-professional careers, achieving remarkable results in competitions.

 

Coaches

Lee, Donghee
head coach

PGA Certified

Coach Lee has over 20 years of coaching experience and is renowned in both South Korea and Canada. He has trained multiple current PGA Asian Tour players. In the 2023 season, he helped two Chinese players join Team Canada (the national team) and one Chinese player join Team Ontario (the provincial team). Each year, he assists several graduating players in gaining admission to their preferred universities in the US and Canada.

Alvin Choi

PGA Certified

Coach Choi is a multiple-time Canadian Junior Amateur National Champion. He graduated from the renowned North Carolina State University in the United States, where he was a key player on the golf team. Choi turned professional in 2013, joining the PGA Tour.

bradlee ryall
Consultant Coach

Coach Ryall is a Canadian PGA professional golfer. Bradlee Ryall has received multiple provincial awards and has become a celebrated leader in golf lessons, junior development, and private golf coaching.

Adam Svensson
Consultant Coach

Coach Svensson is a current PGA player, ranked 37th in the PGA Tour for the 2023 season, and 59th globally. He is also the winner of three Korn Ferry Tour championships.

Basketball

Basketball is a great sport that people all over the world are crazy about. Deft dribbling, accurate passing, great shooting and powerful dunks make spectators cheer. It is an all-round physical sport, where you can gain friendships and dreams through intense confrontation.

STEAM

Often fun and challenging, STEAM programs teach knowledge through projects and experiments that stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm for learning and motivate them to explore related fields in greater depth.

Art

Art is a unique form of expression that allows students to express their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through the mediums of painting, sculpture, and photography. Participation in the arts develops personal focus, observation, imagination, and problem-solving skills. This is beneficial for personal growth and self-expression.
