A.I. Summer Camp

North Bay’s A.I. summer camp will introduce students to computers and artificial intelligence to spark interest in science and engineering. Through various hands-on activities, the program focuses on developing logical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. As students acquire relevant knowledge and experience, we aim to help students make informed choices about university majors and any future prospects. Participating in competitions and high-quality projects is a great way to build a strong portfolio for university applications.

Time & location

The program runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

There are two batches to choose from:

  • Batch 1: July 1 – 26th
  • Batch 2: August 1 – 28th

LEVELS

Beginner:

  • Start from zero and learn the basics of programming
  • The program offers 50 programming case studies, covering a variety of topics

Intermediate:

  • File handling
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Complex data structures
  • Algorithm knowledge

Both levels offer an optional project session where students can sign up for a week where they can apply the knowledge and skills they’ve learned in class and get assistance building their first programs.

TUITION: *meal fee incl.

  • $599/week or $560/week when registering with a friend
  • Additional $50/week for extended care hours (8:30 AM – 6 PM)

STEM Summer Camp

Students will be introduced to STEM-based learning programs using robot technology. Our hands-on approach allows students to exercise their problem-solving skills while working in an atmosphere of creativity and teamwork. Students will develop essential skills like motor skills, focus, and technological acumen. This program is designed for students Grade 4 – 12 and approved by TDSB, YRDSB, PLASP, and more.

  • Represented Canada at the FLL Open European Championship

  • Build LEGO models
  • 3D printing
  • Arduino programming and hardware
  • Create a video game/app/website
  • Raspberry Pi
  • Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
